Now that it has been a year since I got into the miles and points game, I am ready to make my next move. I realized that my family's quality of life can further be greatly improved. Until now, I have been focusing on gaining as many miles in order to travel to visit family.

I am ready to move on to bigger and better things!!!!

I have decided to research hotels in Israel that belong to a chain hotel. I would like to be able to get free stays during holidays (or pre-holidays). Israeli hotels are known for not allowing one to use reward
points during their busy times, which include holidays. So, finding dates during holidays will be difficult. But, the kids are usually off a few days before the holidays, and this is when I plan to use my reward points. While doing research online, I wasn't able to find a concise list of hotels in Israel that belong to a chain (dealswelike had the same idea and posted a list not long ago, that I didn't know about!). Therefore, I decided to put together my own list. If I have missed any hotels, please let me know. Hotel Chains in Israel include Accor, Best Western, Club Carlson, Hilton, Wyndham, Marriott and IHG/Priority Club.

My game plan is to get the two Starwood's credit cards and spend enough to have 40,000 points.
